People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, parenting stress, or major life transitions, while others may simply feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they would like to better understand.
Therapy offers space to slow down, reflect, and begin making sense of what may feel difficult to navigate alone.
The first session is an opportunity to begin getting to know one another and to talk about what brings you to therapy.
We may discuss current concerns, personal history, relationships, or patterns that feel important to explore. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before starting.
Therapy develops over time, at a pace that feels thoughtful and collaborative.
The length of therapy varies depending on each person’s goals, needs, and circumstances.
Some clients seek short-term support around a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term therapy focused on deeper emotional or relational patterns.
This is something we can discuss together as therapy progresses.
